Hello, I recently noticed that the amount of memory being used by an svchost.exe process gradually increases while my computer is in use to the hundreds of thousands (I've seen it into the million range already).

I think it's connected, but after a period of time (30ish minutes or so perhaps?) my internet connection just stops working. I've read about a memory leak related to this process but it seems like it could be a virus.

Mar 30, 2009  It looks like shards of graphics are everywhere, where one piece of terrain or screen in a way has been cut out and moved like broken glass. It happens when I play LOST Via Domus and The Sims 2. In lost, I can see through walls and doors because the terrain or screen has been moved or broken and it is distracting.

Any help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated because I can only browse the internet for a limited amount of time before having to restart my computer.
