I’ve been in the worlds of business, medicine, and global and public health. And these worlds are a lot more similar and different than you think. My previous positions include serving as Senior Manager at Quintiles Transnational and Associate Professor of Medicine and Biomedical Informatics at the University of Pittsburgh, working in biotechnology equity research at Montgomery Securities, co-founding a biotechnology/bioinformatics company.
