You can see where this is going early on, but somehow, it's likea car accident. You don't want to watch but you do? Those of us whodon't have money would like to think money cures problems, but as thismaterial shows, if you're sick, you're sick. I thought the actors did agood job portraying their characters. When these things happen toordinary people, they're statistics. When they happen to rich people,they become the material for books and movies.

However, I found the texture of the film to be entirely phony, ringing false in every nuance, every detail. The movie went further actually, portraying him as long suffering Goodman Brooks whereas recollecting my reading of the nonfiction account, which is an oral history - he speaks for himself and of everybody else at great length - I would have written him as much more of a villain in this tale.
